from $69.99 CLICK HERE for more camera reviews!

“I have never had such a fantastic camera!!

The zoom on this is AMAZING. I took a picture of a flower at least 20 feet away, when I zoomed in on the flower itself, it came out crystal clear! Every picture I take comes out clear and perfect as though it is 10mp instead of 8! I took a picture while driving on the highway of a sign and it came out so clear you would think I’d taken it while standing in front of it! Perfect for up-close pictures of things too! You can take video with it and hear the sound because it has speakers unlike many other camera! My Moms $300 camera with 9mp is as good as this! (Except the zoom on this cameras is 100x better!) Best megapixel digital camera for the price you will EVER buy.”“>

The Best Point And Shoot Megapigixel Digital Cameras + Full Manufacturer Product Review On Sony Cybershot 5.1

Complaints

To find out what is the best point and shoot megapixel digital camera you are going to do some research. There are millions of people that own a megapixel digital camera and with all the different brands it is not an easy task to choose one.

There are many complaints about point and shoot cameras and sometimes one can wonder how many complaints are valid. Sometimes there are complaints and then after all it was only a new user who did not know how the digital camera works.

Some complaints are true yes, if you take the competition amongst manufactures; the one want to produce a better digital camera than the other one, certainly there will be some complaints somewhere.

Point and shoot cameras can be slow, this will make that you miss that special moment on film because of slowness, this is definitely unacceptable. The megapixel digital camera can be slow for several reasons. The flash recharge time for your next photo is the number one on my list for its slowness. Due to this you will miss that perfect photo. Most often, taking multiple photos quickly is not possible with some of them.

Now we can talk about my second one for slowness, the batteries. The megapixel digital camera for point and shoot take the life of a battery like it was an old battery that you use. The LCD screen, flash and electronics drain them quickly; again you will miss some great pictures.

But do not give up now, read further the best is yet to come.

How To Choose The Best Point And Shoot Megapixel Digital Camera

For all your cameras and accessories in one place, click here

Try to buy point and shoot megapixel digital camera with as few as possible functions, having too many choices can overwhelm you and that can cause that you get broken shots. Rather search for automated controls and easy features.

Shop the right price before you buy your best point and shoot digital camera. Take megapixels in consideration because the more megapixels the digital camera has the more you are going to pay. In short, a 5.1 megapixel digital camera can take the same great pictures as an 8.0 megapixel digital camera for example. But megapixels are another topic.

Try not to buy a camera with a lot of features that you don’t understand, they cost a lot more and will only confuse the beginner point and shoot photographer. Keep it plain when you buy your camera, you know what you will need it for, and with that in mind you can make your decision.

Make sure you get a camera with a flash that is strong enough to take good pictures in darker places. Another thing is to get a camera with a good lens. When you go out shopping for your camera, go to the sales person in your store and ask him to show you some floor models. Ask him to put in batteries in the camera if it have not got it already, start testing it out.

Feel how does the camera fit in your hand, does it have a neck or wrist strap that can help prevent you from dropping the camera? Are you comfortable with the functions? Ask questions about the flash, lens, red eye reduction, and a good thing is to look for automated functions about color and “image stabilization”, ask what comes with the point and shoot megapixel digital camera for example: memory card; batteries, connection cable to your pc etc.“>

What is the smallest and/or most economical digital camera that comes with a remote control?

I was looking for a point and shoot digital camera that comes with a remote control but apparently they don’t exist. I was wondering what the smallest camera with a remote control is? I want to be able to put the camera on a tripod and take multiple pictures without having to go back to reset the timer.

I doubt very much if you can get a point & shoot digital camera with a remote control.
My old digital camera (Canon G3), which I still have sitting in it’s bag somewhere…has a remote control, which came in very handy at times, especially for night shots when I didn’t want any camera movement to ruin the shot.

Anyway, another way to take multiple photos without having to reset the timer, is to buy a camera with an ‘intervalometer’. One camera I do know of that has this feature (and I’m sure there are others), is the Canon Powershot S3 IS.
The intervalometer allows you to shoot images at set intervals of between 1-60 mins and 2 to 100 images can be shot. After the first image is shot, the power is turned off until the next shot, and it continues this way till it has taken the amount of images you set it to take.

But I suppose that’s not really the same as a remote control. Good luck if you can find one…

Which point and shoot digital camera is the best on the market right now?

I am looking for a new camera at least 8 megapixels that takes good indoor and outdoor photos. Which brand is the best for the value, I want just a point and shoot camera nothing too fancy.

Olympus Stylus 1030SW 10.1MP Digital Camera with 3.6x Optical Wide Angle Zoom
This is really the sturdiest digital camera which, is the common problem of digital cameras when it comes to accidental bumps and drops, and getting wet. Sony, I seem to always have problem with that brand whether it’s digital camera or audio products. I’m just biased against it. Here’s a site for that Olympus:

Digital cameras for kids? Do you let your kids play with your camera?

-We’re looking for a kids digicam/cheap digicam that plugs into the tv for my little cousin who’s family has no computer. We can’t really go anymore than 40 bucks because of how many kids we have in our family to buy for.

-I’m also wondering what kind of camera your child has? Do you let them play with yours? How old are they?

um, well I’m far too young to have children, but that wording would put up a bit of a warning, if I were ever a parent.. letting kids /play with/ a digital camera? eep. somewhere, in another dimension, I can hear expensive cameras breaking..

is 5.1 megapixel digital camera good enough to take decent pictures?

Generally speaking, yes. If you compose well so that you won’t have to crop the image, you will be quite satisfied.

However… Buy a decent brand of camera. In the 5 MP range, there are a lot of cameras out there that are pure junk. Check out the camera you are interested in buying on http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/ If they don’t list it, it’s probably not worth considering.

Or, come back here and ask about your specific model or models and we will help you.
